Call for Research in Progress and Educational Initiatives

Recognizing that research activities have been grossly limited this year and teaching strategies have changed amid the pandemic SNRS is now accepting abstracts from research that is “in-progress” and submissions that highlight innovative teaching strategies.
Requirements for research in progress: research has been IRB approved (or exempt) and was initiated. You may submit a preliminary analysis, an instrument/intervention developed which you are piloting and that is showing promise, or strategies that you have initiated to continue research in the midst of a pandemic.

Recommendations for educational initiatives: submissions that highlight innovative teaching strategies you have adopted during the pandemic, especially if you can present outcome data associated with them that demonstrates success. While we are a research society, teaching is our bread and butter, and during this pandemic, we may have had to focus more on this staple than on the fine dining afforded by research…so share how you’ve turned your online class into the focaccia and brioche equivalents of gourmet teaching at our special early sessions on Wednesday morning.

The deadline for submitting research in progress & educational initiatives is November 19, 2020.
SNRS membership is NOT required at the time of submission. However, membership is REQUIRED at the time of presentation, if you are selected. ENRS, MNRS, and WIN members may also submit documenting proof of membership.
