ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Abstract Submission for the SNRS 24th Annual Conference has been closed.


The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA): NIH funding.

On Wednesday afternoon, February 18th, NIH Acting Director Raynard Kington, M.D. Ph.D., held a public briefing on the implementation plans for NIH funding in the stimulus bill, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).  No handouts were available, but we took notes and wanted to share these with you.  Below is a summary of the briefing based on our notes and some of the "question and answer" period that followed.  More details will be available on the NIH website soon.

STTI/SNRS grant application now available!
 
The link has been opened to begin accepting applications on the STTI/SNRS grant. The link will remain open until 1 April at 11:59pm HST.  Click here for more information.


The 2009 Nurses Research Grant Application has been posted online at www.ANFonline.org.

The deadline for all submissions is May 1, 2009. This year, 26 nursing research grants, totaling $177,500, are available for beginning and experienced nurse researchers.  See the application for further details and instructions.
